When you volunteer to COACH children, you have the opportunity to make a lifelong impact on youth. It is the opportunity to teach the core values of humanity and skills for the sport all at the same time with intention and purpose.
It does not take extra time, it just takes being intentional about the implementation and recognition of core values of caring, respect, responsibility, and honesty.
When these core values are taught, modeled, and practiced, youth naturally learn good sportsmanship and good citizenship.
